Very nice wreck. The superstructure was burned to the top deck prior to sinking so it is flat on top. The wreck is still in good condition, and the view looking up at the bow is quite impressive in clear water. Would make a great photo op. We have had excellent vis this year so we were able to get great views of large parts of the wreck, If you would like to see what it looked like prior to sinking, a copy of this ship is moored in Swantown under renovation. Very large ling cod and many different types of fish on the wreck. It is coming apart now at the top, so I would not attempt penetration into the hull. Harbor porpoises have been active in the area, so the bait fish stay very close to the wreck for protection.
