Description

The Seattle Aquarium beautifully maintains an impressive collection of local marine life displays including hands on tide pools, fish, mammal and bird exhibits plus a variety of tropical displays. It boasts itís newly added Window on Washington Waters exhibit, a 120,000 gallon aquarium that has regularly scheduled divers that feed the fish and answer questions. The aquarium is a good place to be exposed to the local marine inhabitants, get a close up view of some common or less come critters, practice your marine life ID, or volunteer your time and enthusiasm.

Volunteers are welcome to apply. Please visit their website to learn more about the aquarium or find out how you can volunteer.

This is a great outing just for fun or to take the family. It lets you show off all the cool things that are seen while diving and teaches about many of the critters that are less commonly seen.
