Wall

Description

This site drops to about 85 ft and becomes a mud bottom. There is a lot of invertabrate life and rockfish. Some Seapens are in the mud bottom off the wall.

Special Restrictions:

When the mud bottom hits about 50 feet, start going up. If you stay down at the 50 ft mark for too long, when you come up, you will be doing a green water ascent. You will no longer be on the island and will have traveled into the bay.

How to get there:

Boat access only. Friday Harbor, Roche Harbor and Deer Harbor are the closest harbors. You can drop in on the North side just inside the east most tip. Head South and keep the wall on your left.
