Features

Wall, Large Rock Formation / Pinnacle

Description

Rock ribs that cascade in short walls, some with slight overhangs. The dive site descends from the surface to about 50ft, with the best life around the northeast corner of the rocks where it is exposed to nutrient-rich flooding currents. Submersed rock ridges connect the multiple rocks that breach the surface.

Special Restrictions:

Beware of currents and boat traffic.

How to get there:

Colvos Rock sits between Port Ludlow and Oak Bay near Basalt Point, just south of the inlet to Mats Mats Bay. The site is near the dive sites Klas Rock and Mats Mats Quarry.
