Wall, Boulder Pile / Shelves
Quatsap Point is a great follow-up dive to other deeper dives located throughout the northern Hood Canal. It is a ragged rocky wall that extends from 20' to about 45' deep with scattering of rocks and boulders providing substrate for invertebrates to grab hold of and provides shelter for schools of rockfish.
Beware of boat traffic and fly a dive flag. It would be a good idea to ascend near shore.
How to get there:
Quatsap Point is just south of Pleasant Harbor located off the southeast side of the large head that is clearly visible while traversing the Hood Canal. The dive site it right off the tip of the southeastern most point of the head. Anchor near shore on thin north side of the point and swim east toward the wall.
