Boulder Pile / Shelves
Doe Bay is a shallow silty bay with easy dive access and cozy amenities from the resort on location. From the entry point you will swim to the points on the right or left where there are some ledges about 10' tall with boulders and crevices that house a variety of fish and invertebrates, sponges, and even large octopus. On the left side of the bay be sure to swim out to the second point where the largest shelf is located and bottoms out at almost 50' deep.
Adventurers and kayakers may want to visit nearby Doe Island which is located only 1/2 nautical mile from Doe Bay.
Keep an eye on currents once outside the bay at the points. It is an easy shore dive with good amenities for a small day-use fee paid to the Doe Bay Resort. Includes restrooms, hot showers and hot tubs. This makes a nice relaxing dive get-away if you choose to stay at the resort.
