Wall, Boulder Pile / Shelves
Rosario Wall is a pleasant dive site protected from current making it an excellent back-up dive destination near the south end of Orcas Island.
The top of the wall starts in about 55' and cascades downward in a series of tall ledges which house octopus and other crevice dwellers. Expect to see plenty of gunnels and warbonnets, urchins, crab and more. The ledges give way to a silty bottom in 90'-100'.
Silty bottom and some steep drop. Watch bottom time. Current is not an issue and can be dove any time.
How to get there:
This site is best verified with a depth finder. Located in the center of Orcas Island in East Sound, just inside the point to Cascade Bay, slightly southwest from the Moran Manor.
