There are several reefs straight out form the beach access and to the left at depths up to 35’ that are separated by sandy areas. These reefs are visible from the picnic tables on calm days. If you head to the left there is a large rock that has many crevices that fish like to hide in. In addition to the other small marine life, divers frequently see small sharks and rays around the reefs.

Special Restrictions:

This area is a marine preserve so hunting and gathering of any type is prohibited.

How to get there:

Heisler Park is located just west and adjacent to the Main beach in Laguna. From PCH, turn on Myrtle street and then left on Cliff St. Limited metered parking is located at Heisler Park. There is a paved ramp to the water.
