For the purpose of simple organization, this category comprises all marine vegetation including sea grasses, kelp, seaweed, and the various other forms of algae. Actually most aquatic vegetation is algae, which comprises kelp and other forms of seaweed. A few aquatic plants do exist in the ocean mostly at the intertidal zone, such as eel grass, etc.
