Opalescent Nudibranch  (Hermissenda crassicornis)

This species is a popular photography subject for SCUBA divers. It inhabits the water from Japan to the US, from Alaska to N. Mexico and dwells in the recreational diving limits. It primarily feeds upon hydroids but will scavenge as well.

It is easy to recognize by the bold orange and white stripe on its head that heads toward the back. The cerata end with an orange tip.
