Painted Greenling  (Oxylebius pictus)

Painted Greenling are a common site among divers in the Northeast Pacific ocean on the bottom near rocky holes and crevices, around wrecks and hanging vertically on rocky walls. They are easily identifiable by the bold vertical bands. Colors vary depending on age and during spawning. Painted Greenling can grow to 10 but are seldom seen by SCUBA divers over 6.
