Shiner Perch  (Cymatogaster aggregatus)

Found along the entire pacific coast in North America, this common small perch grows up to 8" long but is often schools of 2-3" specimens are often encountered by divers in shallow water. Typically seen by day in large silvery schools but by night the fish will sit on the bottom individually.
